A few things we’re great at
We have many years of breeding experience.
Selecting for breeding but also selecting for a variety of jobs.
Gundogs (many champions and winners), detection dogs working in a variety of disciplines worldwide, Service dogs, Scent Service dogs, Medical Alert dogs, Medical Alert Assistance dogs, Medical Detection dogs, Vapour detection dogs etc.
Our original first Bournepark kennels in England had a breeding programme for the Bournepark Gundogs. Field Trial Labradors, Working Cocker Spaniels and Working English Springer Spaniels. This was mainly the side where, before I
entered the scene, my husband Eric being a multiple trial winner and English Kennel Club judge, was active and still is since we moved the kennels to the Netherlands.
Dogs for hunting and detection also in specialist disciplines with government agencies and research projects and many more.
The Bournepark Beagle side of things is something I always wanted to do. A dream come true, our Beagles, selected in a different way.

Behaviour
Considering the personality and the behaviour is for us the most important aspect of chosing dogs and certainly choosing the parents and combinations of the possible parents.

Health
It should go without saying we would only breed with dogs that are health tested. We mean the full monty. Eyes, hips and elbows, DNA hereditary and the full package DNA genetic testing.

Selection
Our philosophy in selection goes past the outside of any dog. Our main interest is the inside. Sure Beagles in general are attractive, cute, adorable etc. And we do understand some people hold showing dogs in high regards.
Our first goal however is not showing but working with our dogs. All our dogs. And in this case selection will be different. Character, behaviour and many other things is what we are looking for and hold in high regards.
