Bournepark is a name that already exists for a long time and is related to a beautiful estate in Kent, England.
Originally registered and used for the English bred gundogs it is also registered in the Netherlands and all our dogs born in the Netherlands will have a Dutch Bournepark pedigree.

Next to being involved in research, lecturing and teaching, Hotsche also is known for her practical knowledge.

Next to being an English field trial judge, Eric is also known for making up champions and working with several government agencies.
Breeding
In our breeding programmes we do the best we can to observe the dogs behaviours, test their health and think of suitable combinations.
Selection
Next to having a litter now and then, we also select other dogs for a variety of jobs and purposes.

We are Hotsche Burchell-Luik and Eric Burchell.
Our professional life with dogs goes back several decades and includes many dogs and breeds. It has brought us and many of our dogs all over the world, working, researching, teaching and training.
Next to owning many dogs over the years ourselves, we also work with clients and students all over the world and often together with their dogs. Our life consists of dogs and dog related subjects 24/7.
These pages however are primarily about Hotsche’s special love for the Beagles.
